Hi All,
I've always been a little puzzled by folks complaining about slop in the '52's head.
Until it happened to me.
I noticed that if I twisted the blades in opposite directions there was 3-4mm of slop- not good for hovering in confined spaces.
The culprit (consult the expoded diagram on this site)? Parts 66+67 had become lose; the solution? A TINY amount of cyno between the two and push FIRMLY and QUICKLY together.
The difference in the precision of this heli is phenominal. With the Mad Dogs and careful trimming this baby will hover itself.
