I am running in a 6V mode, so I use a step down for the gyro as it can only take 5V. The stepdown diode should take away 0.6V, and voltage to gyro is around 5.4V.
I have also installed the BEC around 2.5 inches from the receiver and I have 2 problems now.
1. When I throttle up, there is a jump of sudden RPM increase somewhere around 20-30% throttle. The jump is like 20/30% - 40/50%...
2. If I turn off my Tx, leaving the Rx on, the servos goes to the extreme travel and making cracking noises (breaking plastics). This does not happen before I put on the BEC.
What have I done wrong here? TIA
