Post subject: Swash leveling tool!!

I came across one of these swash leveling tools. Its probably old news but they make setting up the belt cp alot easier!! Remove the rotor head assembly everything but the swashplate, power up the TX and chopper (motor disconected) set all the trims (bar the throttle) to center and then slot the tool over the mainshaft until its sits on the swashplate. It becomes clear if the swashplate is not level as there will be an uneven gap between it and the tool, adjust the conecting rods until it is level all the way round! You then know before you do any other adjustments that the swashplate is perfectly level!! This has saved me a fair amount of time, although I nearly always manage to break something when I fly!! LOL!! Laughing
