Yes, it's a Belt:
The single big problem with T-Rex heads is the missing anti-rotation pin on the swashplate. You could fabricate one, but the swashplate I had really didn't leave enough room for a mounting I would have trusted. The Esky swashplates don't have enough room for Align balls to rotate, so the only reasonable way to do it seemed to be a special swashplate that had all four mounting holes built in. The ones I've seen so far are the Microheli 120 CCPM Uni swashplate and the 3DX/HDX B style.
I already had the Microheli tail mechanics, and was sufficiently impressed to start building a matching blue bling theme. Obviously, this is gross overkill on the Belt, but isn't that half the fun? Only it turned out the pin is too large for the stock anti-rotation bracket... Of course, I could have waited another week to get a Rex size bracket to fit on the Belt frame, but my inner McGyver took over and I located a small hex bolt of the proper diameter. Problem solved, and the thread is fine enough not to cause binding. I'll probably cut off the bolt head after flight testing so I can actually remove the swashplate without mutilating the bracket.
The Esky balls were starting to look a little puny at this point, and I didn't really trust the pushrods to be close enough to mix links on the swash. I used the balls from my now obsolete T-Rex swashplate on the bell cranks, and put on Align pushrods. Job done - the T-Rex 450 S head fits like a glove, and cautious hover tests seem to hold great promise.
