Nice to finally have some warm and reasonably calm days in the UK (well down my way anyway).
Put a couple of batteries through my mate's King2 last night (still waiting til post holiday to buy myself a belt, otherwise the g/f will kill me!
I believe when it happens I can hear a quick change in the motor/head sound which suggests to me there's a very brief change in RPM, which makes me think something is slipping. The heli stays stable vertically when it happens so don't think it's pinion or main gear related. I'm thinking it could be the belt slipping a tooth or two?
Any other possibilities?
What's your chosen method of checking/setting belt tension?
Cheers,
A
