I've upgraded to a Dx6i after a tail servo twitching issue and a FY401 Gyro after the twitching issue was relating to the original esky gyro and not the original Tx. I've set up the Dx6i and the FY401 as per the sticky and most things seem to be working correctly.

The problem, as I've read so often on the forum, is tail spin. I don't think this is a positional problem of the servo on the tail boom. I've set up the heli on a turntable and noticed that in rate mode the servo at zero throttle moves more or less 45 degrees both ways. There is no binding on the tail and a good spectrum of movement both directions. At 20% it is more or less steady but when I move the stick to correct for the slight slow spin the servo arm continues to move in the same direction without input from me on the stick causing violent tail spin. If I correct for this on the stick it will correct in the other direction but then it will continue further in that direction obviously causing violent spin the other way. With more throttle the problem is the same but with more spin speed.

I also have the creep in HH as Couger mentions but I will try the fix if I can sort out some sort of steady tail in rate.

The Gyro initialises correctly in HH on connection (were I can see the creep and the servo corrects to 90 degrees when I switch to rate.

I've tried swapping servos with no result and there don't seem to be any vibration issues on the heli. I have 43T belt (correctly installed) and have checked the tension and the teeth on the tail and there dosen't seem to be slipping at higher throttle.

Any ideas guys?
