Got home just before lunch (well, the office actually as I work from home Wink ) and thought I'd just have a quick practice with the HB King.

Got all setup in the garden, first attempt lasted a few seconds (I'm not at all good yet) and I adjusted a couple of trims to compensate.

Got ready again and gently took off. The heli did it's usual slow rotate to the left as it lifted off and was soon heading towards me, nose in.

OK, don't panic I thought - reduce throttle and try to correct/land ... blinking 'eck it's moving fast Shocked I cut the power asap just in time to see it fall into the bush and hit the fence Rolling Eyes

So, that was one titchy take-off - land and one crash into the fence. Result, the new blades I fitted last night are nuked and I'm grounded Crying or Very sad

I've ordered a multi-buy (x 3) pack of blades from Heliguy - fingers crossed they turn up tomorrow. I think I either need to find a bigger space or ... a bigger wallet Wink Laughing
