Ok, just my 2c really. For a while I have been flying using either the stock radio gear and then a second hand Optic 6 with a standard Gyro, and then an Align HH gyro which I got from somewhere. All moderately cr@p gear really. I got sick of the feeling that I could crash at any time due to gear glitches, failures, weird and unstable tail action, etc etc. I just felt it could all go wrong at any time, and all to little or no fault of my own

I decided to go for it and I bought a Spectrum DX6i with a GY401 + high speed digital tail servo. Wow. I mean WOW! Its so different its indescribable! Within 3 flights Im dancing the king all over the sky like never before. it just feels sooooo positive. Its not glitched even once and I feel nothing but completely in control. If I crash now? It can only be my own fault. I wont go on...

My point?
If you are wanting to take your flying to the next level and can possibly afford the cash.... Just do it! Buy the best gear you can. You will never look back. In fact, buy the electrics FIRST, before you buy all the fancy CNC stuff.
