Well I recently bought a Trex 500 and moved the 401 as planned onto it.
Not wanting to neglect my King, I put the Esky 704a hh gyro back on.
I had to turn the gain right down to stop the wagging, and it won't stay in one place.
I get the tail straight (tail in) and it will turn to the right.
I bring it back straight and it turns right again
I bring it back straight and it turns left, then right then left.
I spend most of my time keeping the tail straight.
It's strange, but any slight movement of the cyclic causes the tail to wander.
This has all the hallmarks of binding in the linkage, but there is none.
I've got a CopterX tail, which is a lot heavier than the stock tail, so there's more momentum to control. I might try the stock tail on again
