Post subject: Transmitter Battery Life

I recently purchased a lama V3 and it is great fun learning, however, the batteries, when using the free flight sim in the transmitter are very limited in terms of their longevity. I have used the re-chargable variety and those provided by Heliguy yet both leave a lot to be desired. What is the solution?

Kind regards
John
