I recently broke the tail set on my TREX 450 so replaced it with the metal version and a new belt at the same time. I now find that the belt keeps slipping off the metal tail pulley and jamming the system up. I have tried the recommended belt tension plus trying it tighter and looser but to no avail. I have now dismantled the metal version and re-fitted the shaft to it which has the plastic / nylon pulley on it from the old tail set, plus put the old belt back on and all seems well. Have others encountered problems like this and a fix for same!??
