Hi All
Whilst glossing over several sites advertising spare blades for the Trex 450 & 3DX 450 range of helis it seems that blades are available in lengths from 315mm to 335mm with 325mm being the usual length supplied as stock. My question is, can anyone give me a clue as to what are the different flight characteristics of the various blade lengths.
I would assume that say the shorter blades would produce less drag but less lift needing a higher head speed and thus giving more stability...am I on the right track or missing the point entirely?!
Any comments would be interesting.
Regards, Martin.
