Post subject: Vertical heli case

I was headed out to the field yesterday and did not have a case for my newly built King II Xtreme CF frame w/ CopterX head and tail. I do have a nice Align case for my 450 but wanted to take it also.

Being in a hurry to go, and not having much room in the car, I tossed a piece of foam in a small plastic trash can and stuck the heli in nose first. Then I added a couple of foam pieces on each side, and front and back. It worked great. The guys at the field had a real laugh. Haha, it was actually well protected except for the tail sticking out. I am now looking for a wrapping paper tote which is a bit taller and has a lid, to convert to a vertical heli case.

Look for my Vertical Heli Tote at a hobby store near you soon!

Pics comming.
