This isn't supposed to happen. But my 3900 esky brushless has just committed suicide.
I had a bit of a worn pinion. So I changed it for an extreme 11t pinion.
I fitted it back into the king and it was having trouble with it working on the main gear.
It wasn't to tight on the main gear and grub screw from the pinion wasn't snagging on the main gear either..
So I took it back out again, and connected the lipo back up to the ESC and got the motor to spin up. It started to spin, then a brief puff of smoke from the motor. It just died..a dud.. Neutral Confused

So now I'm in the market for another BM. Any recommendations. ??
The extreme motor.??
3800 esky one..??
JGF 4400 KV.??

Paul..
