Gyro problems

Hi I just went to fly my heli but when I plugged the power in the giro started flashing a red light. The motor and everything else seemed to be working except the tail servo. I have a stock esky giro. I cant figure out why its done this. It was working fine the last flight and I never altered it. Could someone offer some suggestions as to why
