I finally got around to conditioning an Esky 2200 LIPO for my Belt CP to give me more flight time than the stock 1800mAh that shipped with the heli.

I get about 6.5 mins of hovering about from the 1800mAh battery so was expecting at least 7.5 mins from the extra power from the 2200mAh. I finally got the heli in the air today..

In practice I'm only getting just over 7 mins with the new battery installed. Shocked After a little measuring of my batteries I've come up with this table.

The extra weight of the larger Esky battery is using more of the power to keep the heli in the air so the benefit of the extra mAh isn't all being reliased in extra flight time.

So..

The moral of this story is that you need to check size and weight as well as mAh ratings to get the best battery for you. From now on I'll be using the more compact Align 2100mAh and Thunderpower batteries for the longer flights on all my helis.. Very Happy
