Hi I have an esky 3100kv outrunner motor and would like to know how many poles it has.
I have counted the winding groups inside the motor and looks like there is 9 sets so does this mean it is a 6 pole motor?
I have read the instructions for my esc and it suggests med timing for most outrunner motors but that is assuming 6 poles. Should I use low timing or med? what differance will I notice between the two settings?
Many thanks for any suggestions.
