Hi everyone. After having about 3 months off from my heli I have returned. I still havent resolved my problem which was the contributing factor that made me so fed up I never flew or bothered with it for so long so here goes for all who dont know me.
I have modded my heli to the point it has turned into a completely different heli changing ever part to upgraded performance parts and still when I try and spin up my heli Lipo alarm kicks in and the power completly dies causing my heli to have blade strikes and crashes etc. I have no control!
To tackle this I have changed my motor to a sonix motor and I have changed my UBEC twice.l I now have a 10AMp Castle creations UBEC. I run 1 digital servo on the tail and the others are SG90's. I have a Castle Creations phoenix 35A ESC and lots of batterys. All of which I have checked voltages before after and during flight etc. There is nothing wrong with the batterys or charger.
The solutions I was getting was either strip the entire heli again and rebuild (Which I have done 3 times!) or replace the motor (Again I just replaced it with this one!) with a less power intensive motor. Or finally change my ESC again!
I started haveing the problems after my last crash which left me with a smashed frame. When I purchased the frame I bought the motor as a upgrade. Then when I put it back together the brown-outs started. Which point me towards the motor.
Any advice. I could do with some opinions before I order what ever I need to try and finally fix my heli. Please could you provide me with some links either by PM or if you can on the forums if you have a suggestion on a replacement part.
