Due to the popularity of pictures explaining setting up of helicopters etc, I will with the help of your input be doing the same for the Walkera 4. but time is no friend of mine and it may take me a while please bear with me.

What your Transmitter controls do.

Please check your transmitter to see if if is Mode 1 or Mode 2 before reading on, never assume it will be the mode you want.

On the left is a diagram showing transmitter controls - and on the right is a exploded diagram of parts.

Transmitter Front

Your Walkera 4 Transmitter rear

In Fig 1 and Fig 2 the trims marked by a white arrow should be centred.
The red arrow in Fig 2 is the throttle trim and should be left in the lower position.

Information about your receiver:-

Gain:-
Adjusting the tail gyro is a matter of increasing or decreasing gain.
You will know if you need to decrease gain if you find the tail wagging from side to side (hunting) disconnect the battery before making any adjustments, which only need to be tiny, otherwise leave well alone.

Tail Motor Drive Wheel

Always check this before every flight:-

Flybar Paddles:-

The pictures below were requested to show the correct position:-

Walkera 4 Manual

Below is a picture showing the location of the the grubs screws that keep the flybar in place, please note sometimes they are glued as shown below:-

Should you need to replace your flybar both screws have to be removed or loosened. If they are glued in simply give the old flybar a twist with a pair of pliers and a gentle tug.

Most important of all is to Take Your Time - Don't Rush Smile
