This summer I feel like I've been cheated. The weather has been so bad I've hardly been able to take my HBFP out, and the darker nights will soon be upon us. As I really can't wait around until next April to fly my heli again, it got me thinking about what was the best way to practice over the winter.
Is it best to stick to a flight sim or buy an indoor machine, just to fly around the living room? If people do think that the 'real' thing is better than a sim, what machine would you recommend?
Personally, flying (or trying to fly!) the HBFP around the house is just too dangerous for me, so I'd be keen to find out what more seasoned flyers do when they can't fly outside.
Thanks.
