I had a problem with my King2 after changing my Battery connectors to Deans Style ones.

I still use my small 1000mah batteries for practising hovering and to keep the COG I mount them way up front on a TRex style angled mount under the canopy, the problem being that when I plug in the battery, the cables and plug sit very close to the main gear.

Solution!

Make a Brush Gaurd (click link- Brush Gaurd 1 )

I used some thin metal plate that is normally used for blocking the spare PCI Slot holes on the back of a PC Case as I had heaps sitting sround.
All I had to do was bend it in the right way that it fit around the main gear cut it to length and it bolts onto the side of my Shizzle Frame Mod plate (cheers Chase_Richard55) and its all fixed

you can see in the last pic the battery right up under the canopy, I may even look at putting something extra around the front and side of the motor as the cable can sit close to that aswell. I will probably just use a peice of plastic card bent around it. I dont get the same problem with my bigger battery as if you look in the last pic you can see where I stick it underneath with velcroe.
