DJI unveils beta phase of Qualified Entities Programme

DJI has unveiled the beta phase of its Qualified Entities Programme (QEP), which will allow public-safety personnel to conduct drone operations without restriction. Through the QEP, DJI will remove all domestic geofencing limitations and altitude limitations for enterprise aircraft. This will allow users to fly in sensitive locations and at higher altitudes, in order to enable critical operations such as disaster response, firefighting, search and rescue, and other public-safety applications. DJI ‘not shying away’ from TB50 And TB55 battery issue

DJI is taking the TB50 and TB55 battery issue very seriously, saying that it has confirmed the cause of the problem and it will be fixed in two stages, starting with the release of a firmware update next week which will ensure that drones which use these batteries can fly safely again.
