Here’s a simple step by step guide on how to update firmware on the Osmo Mobile 3 smartphone gimbal.
Before updating the firmware, ensure your phone has access to the internet and it correctly mounted to Osmo Mobile 3, and the Osmo mobile 3 has at least 30% battery.
(You can press the M button to check the battery level)
Power on Osmo Mobile 3, And Launch the DJI Mimo App.
Click on the icon in the top left corner to connect your Osmo Mobile 3 to your device.
After connecting your phone, a prompt will indicate that there is a firmware update available.
Tap “Found New firmware” to download the firmware package.
After the download is complete, press “Install”.
It will take 3-5 minutes to update, during which time, the system status LED will alternate between red and green.
(The gimbal will become loose during firmware update)
When the update is successful, the system status LED will become solid green.
A prompt will appear to indicate the update is successful.
If a prompt indicating update failure appears in the app, restart the gimbal and try again.
If the update fails multiple times, contact Heliguy for help.
