Before you fly your DJI Mavic 2 in a new location, it's important to ensure your aircraft has been calibrated correctly.

Calibrating the DJI Mavic 2 enables you to fly safely, track GPS efficiently and connect seamlessly with the aircraft.

The DJI Mavic 2 takes a matter of moments to calibrate. This is how you do it.

How to Calibrate IMU on the DJI Mavic 2

  1. Install Latest Version of DJI GO 4.

    It's essential you have the latest version of DJI GO 4 App installed on the device you are using to fly the DJI Mavic 2.

  2. Ensure Battery is Higher Than 50%.

    Charge batteries to higher than 50% before calibrating Mavic 2 IMU

    The batteries must be charged higher than 50% to effectively calibrate the aircraft.

  3. Turn On Remote Controller.

    Turn on the Mavic 2 remote

    Press and hold the Power button located at the top right of the remote controller.

  4. Turn On Mavic 2.

    Press and hold the Power button located at the top of the aircraft's battery.

  5. Ensure the Surface is Level.

    A flat surface is required during calibration.

  6. Go to Flight Control Settings.

    Flight Control Settings can be found in the Settings menu.

  7. Select Advanced Settings.

    Proceed to Advanced Settings and click.

  8. Choose Sensor.

    Once in Advanced Settings go to Sensors.

  9. Tap Calibrate IMU.

    Scroll down to Calibrate IMU and select.

  10. Follow the Calibration Sequence.

    After clicking Calibrate IMU, directions on how to calibrate your DJI Mavic 2 will appear. Follow these steps.

  11. Calibration is Complete.

    After calibrating your DJI Mavic 2, you are ready to fly.

When you change flying locations the DJI Mavic 2 may require you to re-calibrate the aircraft. Simply repeat these steps to re-calibrate your aircraft.
