DJI Zenmuse H30 Series
The DJI Zenmuse H30 series is the newest addition to DJI's collection of Hybrid Sensor Payloads, building upon the success of its predecessor, the H20 Series.
This series consists of the H30 and the H30T (thermal), offering mission versatility for a range of industries, including public safety and inspection.
The H30 Series is an all-weather multi-sensor payload with wide-angle camera, zoom camera, laser range finder, and NIR auxiliary light. The H30T also has a thermal sensor.
It is compatible with two drones: The DJI M350 RTK and the DJI M300 - with the DJI RC Plus. Please note that the H30T is not available separately, and is only available as a combo with the DJI M350 RTK.

Improved Zoom Camera: Experience up to 400x digital zoom and 34x optical zoom. Zoom camera is 40MP 1/1.8-inch CMOS sensor.
- Wide-angle Camera: 48MP 1/1.3-inch CMOS sensor. Maximum video resolution of 3840 x 2160 @ 30fps.
- Laser Range Finder: This payload can determine the distance of objects within an impressive range of 3 - 3000 m at an accuracy of 0.2 m under 500 m and 1 m over 500 m.
- NIR Auxiliary light: Light up dark environments up to 100 meters away using NIR bands. These bands detect infrared vibrations (invisible to humans) within 850 meters by capturing their overtones and combinations of absorption bands.
- Detect Details: The H30 has a superior observation effect on target details 700 m away compared to the H20.
- Multi-Touch Gesture: Easily manage the camera features of the H30 using the touchscreen settings on the DJI RC Plus Controller, enabling straightforward user navigation to access its advanced camera settings
- Night Vision: Activate night mode with options of full-colour or black-and-white to achieve higher clarity and accuracy at night and in dark places.
- Powerful Thermal (H30T): Photo Resolution of 1280 x 1024 and video resolution of 1280 x 1024 @ 30fps. Obtain 32x digital zoom. Temperature measurement range between -20°C and 1600°C.

Higher Integration: The H30T boasts the capability to integrate with five major modules - a wide-angle camera, a zoom camera, an infrared thermal camera, a laser range finder, and a NIR auxiliary light.
H30 Series Photography Modes
The H30 has three photography modes, all designed to help you capture accurate, high-quality data and footage.

Click and Aim: Control the gimbal with ease by double-clicking your point of interest on the DJI RC Plus, and the camera will, in turn, move the gimbal until the selected area is in the centre of the screen.

One-Finger Swap: To adjust the gimbal angle, press and hold the screen until the cursor appears, then slide one finger on the screen.
- Slide With 3 Fingers: To hide all the settings, simply swipe down with three fingers to hide all the settings in the interface, allowing you to focus solely on observing the camera feed.
H30 Night Scene Mode
- NIR Auxillary Light: When activated, the auxiliary light, also known as the IR Spotlight, and the IR Light option will turn on automatically. This switches the camera view to black and white while the auxiliary light enhances illumination at the centre of the screen.
- Black and White Mode: In this mode, the landscape appears in black and white, and infrared light can be used to illuminate the area below without causing excessive brightness.
- Full-Colour Mode: With this feature, the IR filter that would cut out the infrared light is removed, allowing you to see a brighter landscape.
- Enhanced Noise Reduction: In the night vision setting, you will find the noise reduction options, enabling you to quiet the background noise as you film.

Laser-Assisted Focussing: By default, a laser range finder aids focusing.
With Night Scene mode and IR Light activated, the laser spot is visible at the centre of the black-and-white camera view. You have the option to deactivate the laser module in On-Demand Mode, which turns it off when the RNG function is not in use.
H30T Thermal Camera
- High-Resolution Imagery: Gather your data in exceptional quality with a 4x improvement in resolution at 1280 x 1024 when the zoom ratio is AT X2 or above.
- Vast Colour Pallete: Capture 10 types of colour palette settings, including - White Hot/Black Hot/Lava/Tint/Iron Red/Rainbow1 /Rainbow 2/Medical/Arctic/Fulgurite.
- Three Thermal Camera Modules: For law enforcement and wildlife monitoring, there is a Live View Mode; for inspections, we recommend High-Gain Mode; and for fire monitoring missions, we recommend Low-Gain Mode.
- Split Display: In Photography Mode, the H30T supports split-screen photos. During video recording, you can have a split-screen view with a resolution of 1920 x 1080.
- Linked Zoom: Linked Zoom: Supports simultaneous zoom and infrared display, aiding in infrared search and visible light confirmation, and the optical centre alignment of the zoom and infrared cameras is more accurate.
- Temperature Alerts: The H30T will alert you when the temperature exceeds the threshold, allowing you to monitor temperature changes in real time.
- Improve Your Temperature Range: The new IR Density Filter accessory, once installed, greatly enhances the thermal temperature measurement range by using the material's light absorption and reflection properties, shaped into a lens, to reduce light intensity.

DJI Thermal Analysis Tool 3.0: Infrared photos can be imported for temperature measurement, with batch parameter adjustments and exportable analysis reports.
*Infrared photos taken in High-Resolution Live View mode do not have temperature information, so they cannot be analysed in DTAT software.
H30 Series Smart Features

- Storage-Friendly Bit Rate: The H30 series dynamically compresses videos to save storage and CBR, which maintains a constant bit rate.
- Foreground Stabilisation: When videoing, foregrounds can be made the centre of focus easily for more accurate and reliable inspection data.
- Electronic Dehazing: Enhance footage quality with Electronic Dehazing, clarifying imagery from the zoom camera for a clearer, less distorted filming environment.
- Smart Track: Enable accurate tracking of moving objects, such as vehicles or people, through automated identification, positioning, and continuous tracking, ensuring they stay centred in the picture and maintain suitable proportions for viewing.

AI Spot Check: Use this feature to improve the accuracy of your tasks. The algorithm autonomously compares the target area with the real-time image to adjust the camera's shooting angle, ensuring precise operations.
H30 Series Flight Planning
The H30 series offers multiple flight planning methods to enhance the accuracy and efficiency of missions.
- Waypoint Flight Rotes: Enable you to plan missions precisely and record live as you operate, ideal for inspections.
- Emergency Response Mapping: Utilise the H30 mapping abilities to locate and model routes that can be for emergency services.
- Thermal Mapping: Generate thermal maps with DJI apps Terra or FlightHub 2.
H30 Series Vs H20 Series
The H30 features key upgrades over the original H20 series.
