The DJI iOS Ground Control Station (GS) App is for the iPad 3 / 4 and Mini offers full support for all of DJI multi-rotor flight controllers, the DJI iOS can access the parameters to allow the user to change them with ease or set waypoints wirelessly from an iPad. These additional features from DJI iOS Ground Station will give both the hobby and aerial photography professionals another tool to conduct fun or professional flights with a real time mapping and flight data clearly displayed to monitor the multi rotors progression and key flight information.

The DJI iOS Ground Station comes with the click & go function, 50 waypoints for the WooKong M and 16 waypoints for the Naza M, these are enabled after a firmare upgrade to flight controller, you are now just a few taps away with the iOS Ground Station from ways point flights!

The iOS Includes the 2.4 GHz Bluethooth Datalink and Way point licence.

To use this system you will require a battery and charger for the ground station. We solder a deans terminal to allow connectivity.

Please purchase the battery and charger you see on the left hand side of this page.

Wouldn't be without one

I use my S1000+ to carry a gimbal and DSLR - to allow me to program the flight and tell it to go to specific way points is great. As the pilot I can focus on monitoring what is going on without having to worry too much about the position of the multi-copter. Flights can be fully autonomous but I prefer to take off and press 'Go' then to take control back for the landing - it works either way. This device goes on the multi-copter (I also have one on the smaller Flamewheel 550)and you use an iPad or Android device to program the flight. You can also use it with a laptop for more functionality but personally I've found most of the time the iPad is quite enough. The same device allows you to configure your flight controller using either the iPad or an iPhone (or similar Android devices). This can be useful to check the IMU calibration and during the set up stage when you're fine tuning things on the ground - saves taking a laptop to the flying field. I power mine with a small 3S lipo which seems to last forever as the power draw isn't huge. If you want the flexibility of pre-programming your multi-copter get yourself one of these and have a go. Nick
