A new lightweight, high quality, truly personal drone from DJI.

What is the Mavic Mini?

This makes it exceptionally portable and places it in the lowest and safest weight class of drones, which in many countries may exempt it from specific regulations.

How much does the Mavic Mini Cost?

The Mavic Mini Drone costs £369.00. It gets you the drone itself, battery and remote controller, everything you need to get started!

Under 250g Drone Registration Threshold

Weighing under 250 grams, the Mavic Mini is almost as light as the average smartphone.

This makes it exceptionally portable and places it in the lowest and safest weight class of drones, which in many countries may exempt it from certain regulations.

For example, in the UK, United States, Canada, and China, you can fly the Mavic Mini without the need to register it with the government, as it falls under the 250g drone registration threshold.

It also means that the DJI Mavic Mini is the most portable drone ever created by the industry giant.

It's compact and light enough to take everywhere  - which means you're going to have the chance to capture a lot more memories!

DJI Mavic Mini Review

The Heliguy View

In our Mavic Mini Review we talked about six different reasons to buy the Mavic Mini.

For its size - it has a brilliant camera, can be flown in a wide range of environments, has a fully-featured app compatible with the vast majority of mobile devices, and at just £369 it's hard to argue that it isn't the best value drone on the market right now.

The Mavic Mini Battery gives a flight time of around 30 minutes - which is well above most competing drones at this price point.

Add to that the ease of flight that we've come to expect from DJI drones and you can see why the Mavic Mini has been a huge success.

Mavic Mini Frequently Asked Questions

Where to buy the DJI Mavic Mini?

Heliguy are an official UK DJI Gold dealer.

This means you'll get official DJI stock, access to our expert support team and free next day delivery.

Simply choose the Mavic Mini or the Mavic Mini Fly More Combo at the top of this page and checkout!

Will the Mavic Mini get a Follow Me function?

The DJI Mavic Mini doesn't have a "Follow Me" function - which DJI commonly call ActiveTrack.

However, DJI have the potential to add this functionality in at a later date.

There has been no official confirmation that the ActiveTrack feature will appear on the Mavic Mini as of yet - however - given the calls for it to be added from many DJI users - it may be something that arrives in the coming months.

Can the Mavic Mini fly in rain?

No - the Mavic Mini doesn't have any kind of IP rating, isn't waterproof and shouldn't be flow in rain, snow, high winds or any other kind of precipitation.

You should always fly your drone within the operational limits of that particular drone, and within the local laws and regulations.

Does the Mavic Mini work with DJI Goggles?

No - the Mavic Mini doesn't support DJI Goggles or DJI Goggles Racing Edition.

Support for the Goggles may be added at a later date via app or firmware update, but there has been no official confirmation from DJI that the Mini will ever support any of DJI's FPV Goggles.

If you would like to use the Goggles, we'd suggest looking at a Mavic 2 instead.

Is the Mavic Mini worth it?

Heliguy certainly think so!

You're getting a lightweight drone with a great flight time at an incredible price point.

When you consider that just a couple of years ago this technology would've cost over £2k and would've had a 10 minute flight time - the Mavic Mini represents incredible value for money.

Can the Mavic Mini shoot in RAW?

The Mavic Mini does not have the ability to shoot in RAW.

The photos you take will be stored in JPEG format only.

Can the Mavic Mini do flips or any other kind of tricks?

No - the Mavic Mini isn't designed as a "trick" drone.

If you're hoping to have some fun with some aerial acrobatics, we'd recommend exploring the DJI Tello range instead.

Which memory card should I buy for the Mavic Mini?

The Mavic Mini supports microSD cards only.

Officially - the minimum specifications for the microSD card are:

UHS-I Speed Class 3 or above
