LATEST VERSION. The customised smart battery on the DJI Ronin is simple to charge using the supplied charger. It’s also easy to install. The 15.2V 4350mAh Lithium Polymer battery automatically balances the voltage in each of the cells while it’s charging and it stops automatically to prevent any damage. It also stops automatically when the voltage drops to 12 volts to prevent damage caused by over discharging. If a short circuit is detected, it will automatically cut the supply. To save power the battery will go into sleep mode after it’s been inactive for more than 10 minutes. It has its own power display to show what the current battery levels are. While it can be charged when the temperature is between zero degrees C and forty five degrees, it will operate between minus fifteen and plus fifty degrees. Depending on the camera rig that is attached and the amount of use the gimbal gets, the expected runtime is more than four hours.
Capacity: 4350mAh, 15.2V
Charging time: 95 mins
Runtime with Ronin: 6 hours
Charging voltage: 17.4V
Charging current: 3.3A
Highly experienced team in their knowledge of drones & very willing to share their expertise with customers & general public. They have a great website with a vast array of kit. Competitively priced & fast delivery service. I can highly recommend them.
Fast delivery considering I bought in-between Christmas & new year. Spot-on item at a great price too.
Excellent service. Online ordering was well executed, product delivery was bang on time, and customer service was print and very helpful. The Osmo Pocket I bought worked as advertised.

Thanks for your help. I think I will design one. I did see one that wraps around the base of the handle and has the tripod screw thread offset to the side. I think I can do better, a hinged bottom plate, with a tripod screw hole in the center and a clasp that inserts into the handle release slot.
Fabulously informative. I'm a professional photography by trade but I'm new to drones and perhaps asked some daft questions but they were replied very professionally and very informatively. Many thanks!

Both my emails where answered to help try and fault find my problem, so I can see if it would be cost affective to repair myself. Before deciding weather it's worth spending too much to have the drone sent in for repair.
