Get the inside track on how best to plan for your flight assessment and how to get the most out of your equipment from our training team. This preparation day provides a theory refresher, case study discussions and advice catered to you, ensuring you are totally prepared for your practical.
The aim of this preparatory course is to give trainees that may not have taken their ground school with us or would like to maximise their chances of passing the practical assessment a one-on-one or small group experience.
This course has two main sections which aim to provide trainees with the most rounded, accessible approach to their practical preparation. Our expert training staff are there to guide you, offer suggestions and provide crucial insights into both your goals and your setup. You can see what each section includes below:
The theory session provides trainees with useful information on all aspects of the assessment (both the planning and practical). This includes a refresher in the form of a case study, involving a planned operation similar to the kind experienced in the practical itself. We also give candidates the opportunity to plan another operation with in-depth feedback from their instructor.
The practical session assesses trainees' existing skills and offers them a chance to develop and improve before performing under exam conditions. This is followed by discussions with our training staff involving a bespoke progression plan, outlining how to sharpen their skills and what to expect on the CAA approved PfCO flight assessment.
By the end of the day, you'll be an expert on the aims, performance criteria and flight procedures required to confidently take on your practical flight assessment. For more information about what you can expect on the day, contact us for a discussion or scroll up to book a place now.
