General FAQs

My video feed keeps cutting out on my DJI Drone?

Heliguy recommends trying a different device if the problem still persists and your drone has an HDMI out try plugging it into a TV or other monitor. If there is no image on the screen we recommend calling our team.

DJI Go App is displaying a greyed out connection error?

Heliguy recommends ensuring the cable is connected properly or trying a different cable or device.

Why is DJI Assistant 2 not displaying my drone when its plugged in?

Make sure the drone is plugged in correctly or try a different cable and wait 5-10 minutes. If your drone still doesn't appear uninstall DJI Assitant 2 and try installing again.

How do I take batteries out of Hibernation?

When you first get your batteries for your drone they will be in hibernation mode. To take them out of this mode put them in charge till they are 100%

I keep getting magnetic interference warnings, what do I do?

 

  • Check where you are flying, if you are flying near powerlines, steel buildings or power stations you may need to move away from these objects to fly your craft.
  • Try recalibrating your GPS through the DJI App.
  • If you are a confident pilot you can fly in "Atti Mode" which will allow you to fly without GPS. Please note this will disable the return to home function and you will have no GPS lock.
