The range of Mōvi camera stabilisers is a cinematographer’s dream. The three axis brushless motor gimbals can be handheld or mounted on Freefly’s ALTA UAV and TERO camera buggy as well as on jibs, cranes and tripods.
The payload of the range goes from 5lbs (2.27 kg) for the Mōvi 5 through 12lbs (5.44 kg) for the Mōvi 10 to 15lbs (6.8 kg) for the Mōvi 15. That means they can handle anything from small DSLRs to an Alexa M or Sony F55.
The new ALTA hexacopter from Freefly can carry any of the Mōvi gimbals either underneath or on top. The top mount opens up all sorts of creative shooting opportunities.
The Mōvi’s lightweight design combines with smooth flowing ergonomics to make it as easy as possible for camera operators to achieve their dream shots. In dual operator mode one person can manoeuvre the Mōvi while another controls the camera and frames the shot.
The Freefly Configurator gives you control of your MōVI and its many, variable settings via a tablet, Windows or Mac OSX device.
