Drone Instructor and Administrator

Here at Heliguy, we pride ourselves on providing the best drone training available, and we are looking to expand our expert team of training instructors. We’re looking for confident, tenacious and ambitious individuals with a passion for all things tech. This isn’t your average 9-5 job, so continue reading if you’re looking for an exciting career in arguably one of the most technological growth sectors.

As a Training Instructor, you will be responsible for the successful delivery of all training by Heliguy; a Civil Aviation Authority approved National Qualified Entity. You will be based out of our offices in North-Shields on the outskirts of Newcastle, however, will travel extensively across the United Kingdom to deliver training courses. You will have the opportunity to train our diverse customer base including Balfour Beatty, National Grid, Network Rail and multiple Police forces.

The CAA are bringing in changes to the classification and delivery of our training courses in 2020, you will play a big role in helping facilitate our transition from a National Qualified Entity (NQE) to a Recognised Assessment Entity (RAE).

Junior Marketing Web Developer

Join the Digital Team at Heliguy to explore and expand into new international territories. You’ll be working on our digital marketing output, helping drive more visitors to our website across the full marketing mix. This is a new role at Heliguy where you’ll be given lots of opportunities to develop your skills and work with a high-performing team.

Knowledge and Skills

  • Experience of HTML, CSS and JS for front-end development across multiple devices.
  • Knowledge of at least one back-end language - including working with databases and APIs.
  • Experience working with any of these website analytics and SEO tools: Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, Google Keyword Planner, Google Search Console, Bing Webmaster Tools, Moz, SEMrush, Screaming Frog.
  • Data analysis experience with the ability to pull actionable business advice from large datasets.
  • Understanding of basic testing, coding, and debugging procedures.
