Customer Sales and Service Specialist

heliguy™ is an industry-leading one-stop drone shop offering retail, training, repairs, and rentals, all centralised around the heliguy.com website.

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Customer Service and Sales Executive.

In this role, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer support and maximising sales opportunities.

    Responsibilities: 

    As a Customer Sales and Service Specialist you will be the first point of contact for our customers.

    A typical day will involve addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and providing timely and professional responses via phone, email or in person, to ensure a positive customer experience by understanding their needs and providing appropriate solutions. 

    Sales Generation

    • Actively engage with potential customers, promoting our products and services to drive sales growth.
    • Proactively identify sales opportunities and convert leads into customers.
    • Meet or exceed sales targets and contribute to the overall success of the company.

    Product Knowledge

    • Develop a deep understanding of our products, their features, and benefits.
    • Stay updated with industry trends and new product releases to effectively communicate product information and address customer inquiries.

    Order Processing

    • Manage customer orders from start to finish, including accurate order entry, tracking, and resolution of any order-related issues.
    • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless order fulfilment and delivery.

    Relationship Building

    • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing customers to foster loyalty and repeat business.
    • Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling based on customer needs and preferences.

    CRM Management 

    • Utilise customer relationship management (CRM) software to manage customer interactions, track sales activities, and maintain accurate and up-to-date customer records.

    Continuous Improvement 

    • Stay updated with industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities.
    • Continuously seek opportunities to improve processes, enhance customer satisfaction, and drive sales efficiency.

    Troubleshooting and Support

    • Assist customers with problem-solving related to our products and services.
    • Collaborate with the technical support team to escalate and resolve complex technical issues.

    Requirements:

    Excellent Communication Skills

    • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
    • Ability to engage with customers, build rapport, and effectively convey product information and solutions.

    Customer-Centric Approach

    • Passionate about delivering exceptional customer service and exceeding customer expectations.
    • Ability to empathise with customers and provide appropriate resolutions.

    Sales-Driven Mindset

    • Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales targets and drive revenue growth. Strong negotiation and persuasion skills.
    • Proven ability to identify and capitalise on sales opportunities.

    Technical Aptitude 

    • Comfortable with technology and ability to learn and understand complex technical concepts related to drone products and services.
    • Previous experience in providing technical support is an advantage.

    Problem-Solving Skills

    • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
    • Ability to identify customer needs, troubleshoot issues, and find effective solutions in a fast-paced environment.

    • Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

    Organisational Skills

    • Excellent time management and organisational skills.
    • Ability to prioritise tasks, handle multiple inquiries simultaneously, and meet deadlines.
    • Proficient in CRM and Office Software and experience working with customer relationship management (CRM) software and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
