Overview
DJI Avata 2 provides a fully-immersive flight experience.
Advanced camera features, such as tight shots in super-wide 4K, high-resolution 1/1.3 inch sensor, 4K/60 fps HDR video,155° FOV, and gyroflow stabilisation help you capture and enjoy high-quality FPV footage.
The Avata 2 drone is capable of an array of aerobatic manoeuvres, from flips to rolls, meaning you can film content at high-speeds with sharp twists and turns without compromising on the detail of your footage.
Avata 2 has significant upgrades on the original DJI Avata, including upgraded camera and longer flight time.
The Avata 2 introduces the new DJI Goggles 3, with significant enhancements in video transmission, plus the DJI RC Motion 3, which is smaller than the previous version.

DJI Avata 2 vs DJI Avata
DJI Avata 2 has key upgrades on the original DJI Avata.
- Longer Flight Time: The Avata 2 has a maximum flight time of 23 minutes, 5 minutes longer than the Avata.
- Improved Manoeuvrability: Unlike its predecessor, the Avata 2, when combined with the DJI RC 3, is capable of executing advanced ACRO manoeuvres like flips, rolls, and 180° drifts.
- Increased Transmission Distance: Avata 2 is equipped with DJI O4 Video Transmission technology, enabling a maximum transmission distance of 10 km (CE) and a bitrate of 60Mbps. Avata's DJI O3+ system achieves a maximum transmission distance of 2 km (CE) and a bitrate of 50Mbps.
- Compact Lens: Avata 2 has a 1/1.3″ CMOS Super-Wide-Angle Camera for high-quality images without adding bulk, while the DJI Avata has a smaller 1/1.7″ CMOS Super-Wide-Angle Camera.
- HDR Video: Avata 2 introduces 10-bit D-Log M Colour Mode for enhanced colour depth and dynamic range, ideal for professional video production.
