In this Heliguy™ tutorial you'll learn how to use the UAV Health Management System (UHMS). The UHMS on the DJI Smart Controller Enterprise can provide error displays, error records, manage logs and maintenance instructions.

It is extremely helpful when you want a precise overview of your DJI M300 RTK operating health.

From maintaining aircraft logs to evaluating the aircrafts stability, the UHMS gives you all the data you need to continue to fly safely.

  1. Launch DJI Pilot App

Begin by launching the DJI Pilot App.

  2. Tap HMS Icon

You can now tap HMS icon in the lower right hand side of the screen display.

  3. Identify Modules

The main screen shows the health status of the aircrafts different modules. When a system module is in a normal state it will be green. Use the key to help understand what colours represent each module status.

  4. Tap Notified Modules

To access the module tap the icon to open. Once inside the module you can view all the data that corresponds to that module. You can check the errors that are occurring and check the solutions available to you.

  5. Tap Flight Data

When you tap Flight Data on the main menu of the HMS you will open battery, flight and maintenance information.

  6. Select Firmware Update

The DJI Pilot App will notify you with a prompt if you need to update your firmware. This is an integral component for the DJI M300 RTK. The latest firmware will optimise the DJI M300 RTK and will ensure the flight to goes as smoothly as possible.

    • Update Firmware if Prompted

Click Update All when you are prompted to update your firmware. If no prompt is present then all firmware is up to date.

  7. Choose Manage Logs

    • Scroll Up and Down

    • Select any logs you want to upload.

    • You can now upload the flight logs or save them locally.

  8. Click Error Records

    • Check your Error Records

You can now view all the error records that have occurred throughout the aircrafts flights. This ranges from incorrect battery installation to obstacle sensing update errors. The error records can be viewed according to dates or module of error.

Learning how to utilise the HMS on the DJI M300 RTK is pivotal when becoming a professional and safe pilot. Once you've mastered the HMS you'll be flying fast and safer than before.
