Do you need a licence to fly a drone in the UK?

Not all drone pilots need a licence. Under UK drone laws, it depends on the type of drone you’re using and where you intend to fly.

Both recreational and commercial pilots may require a licence, but there are exceptions. For example, if you're flying a drone far away from people, a licence might not be needed.
