DJI Dock 3 AI detection

Showcasing the AI capabilities of DJI Dock 3 and DJI FlightHub 2 for remote missions, highlighting AI recognition and subject tracking.

This video shows how DJI Dock 3 and DJI FlightHub 2 can benefit remote security missions - utilising AI recognition and Smart Track through Virtual Cockpit.

The workflow:

  1. During a pre-programmed waypoint mission, the DJI M4TD identified a human subject using the drone's AI recognition capabilities. This functionality also recognises vehicles and boats and users can choose to enable recognition for different subjects based on the scenario.

  2. Once the subject was identified, it was pre-programmed through FlightHub 2 to record video and temporarily pause the flight.

  3. Our operators then had the chance to engage subject tracking.

  4. Once engaged, Smart Track allowed the drone to track the AI-recognised subject, with live footage displayed on the screen.

The ability to detect and track subjects during remote flights is ideal for BVLOS operations, such as perimeter security and public safety operations.
