DJI FlightHub 2 update: July 31, 2025

Firmware update for DJI FlightHub 2, introducing functionality such as multimodal object detection, as well as a suite of AI and AR features.

A new firmware update has been released for DJI FlightHub 2 (public version), including multimodal object detection, AI warning record list, AR street projection, and AI assistant.

These functions are compatible with the DJI Matrice 4 Series, DJI Matrice 400 with H30 Series, and Matrice 4D Series while using DJI Dock 3).

The Matrice 4D Series (without Dock 3) can utilise AR Street Projection and AI Assistant.

The list below provides an overview of what's new:

Multimodal Object Detection

  • Virtual cockpit now supports multimodal object detection.

  • Users can define the objects that trigger warnings by entering text, uploading images, or selecting objects in real time.

  • Snapshots will be automatically archived to a dedicated folder in the media file library, with support for tag-based filtering.

  • You can configure warning notification types and set record intervals.

AI Warning Record List

  • The AI warning record list in the virtual cockpit and flight records has been upgraded.

  • Supports archiving and displaying records generated by multimodal object detection and cloud-based intelligent algorithms.

AR Street Projection

  • The virtual cockpit now features AR street projection.

  • Supports adjusting opacity and height offset, as well as displaying landmarks.

AI Assistant

  • An AI Assistant is now available in the help pop-up window.

  • The AI Assistant can intelligently answer product usage questions using content from FlightHub 2 public and on-premises product manuals, on-premises deployment manuals, and other documentation.

More Updates

  • Organisations can now enable Two-Factor Authentication for login to enhance FlightHub account security. Once enabled, members must bind an authenticator and enter a dynamic code to complete the login process.
