Here's a simple step by step guide on how to update firmware on the Osmo Mobile 3 smartphone gimbal.
Step 1:
Before updating the firmware, ensure your phone has access to the internet and it correctly mounted to Osmo Mobile 3, and the Osmo mobile 3 has at least 30% battery.
(You can press the M button to check the battery level)
Step 2:
Power on Osmo Mobile 3, And Launch the DJI Mimo App.
Step 3:
Click on the icon in the top left corner to connect your Osmo Mobile 3 to your device.
Step 4:
After connecting your phone, a prompt will indicate that there is a firmware update available.
Step 5:
Tap "Found New firmware" to download the firmware package.
Step 6:
After the download is complete, press "Install".
It will take 3-5 minutes to update, during which time, the system status LED will alternate between red and green.
(The gimbal will become loose during firmware update)
Step 7:
When the update is successful, the system status LED will become solid green.
A prompt will appear to indicate the update is successful.
Step 8:
If a prompt indicating update failure appears in the app, restart the gimbal and try again.
