The DJI Pocket 2 supports four impressive Gimbal Follow Modes which let you get creative wherever you go.
In this fast Heliguy™ tutorial you'll learn how to access the Gimbal Modes menu and switch between each gimbal option.
You'll also learn what each Gimbal Mode affords you and when you're likely to use each mode.
- Swipe up on Camera View
Swipe up on the touch screen whilst in camera view to access the Main Settings Menu.
- Tap Gimbal Icon
Tap the Gimbal Icon located in the lower right corner of the screen. This allows you to quickly swap between gimbal behaviours.
- Choose Follow
Tap the Gimbal Icon until the top black bar says Follow.
The pan and tilt axis follow the handle while the roll axis remains level. This is a great gimbal setting for almost every situation.
- Select Tilt Lock
Tap the Gimbal Icon until the top black bar says Tilt Locked.
In this Gimbal Mode only the tilt axis will follow the handle direction. The roll axis remains level making it perfect for those scenarios where the camera height switches frequently.
- Choose FPV
Tap the Gimbal Icon until the top black bar says FPV.
Pan, tilt and roll axis all follow the handle which creates an FPV type of shot. This is great for action shots and creating immersive video content.
- Press and Hold Lower Right Button
This will completely lock the gimbal. The camera becomes unresponsive towards the movement of the handle.
The DJI Pocket 2 is an incredible creative addition to the ever growing DJI Osmo family.
These quirky Gimbal Settings allow you to take control and shoot quality content.
Be sure to test each Gimbal Setting out and experiment with all modes.
