DroneControl has launched Enhanced Streaming Mode.

It gives operators and drone teams the option to choose between two streaming modes:

• Peer-to-Peer Mode — maximum privacy, minimal footprint.

• New: Enhanced Streaming Mode — scale with confidence.

New: Enhanced Streaming Mode

For larger audiences, the new Enhanced Streaming Mode delivers broadcast-scale reach without sacrificing security.

• Streams are relayed via DroneControl’s secure distribution servers, which never store or expose your video.

• Remains fully encrypted in transit, viewable only by authenticated, authorised users.

• Supports hundreds to thousands of concurrent viewers — with zero extra load on the drone or operator device.

• Ideal for command centres, training scenarios, public safety deployments, or any mission requiring broad visibility.

This mode also significantly upgrades: Streaming reliability; Visual quality (especially under lower bandwidth conditions); and Bandwidth efficiency for the operator.

Peer-to-Peer Mode

DroneControl’s original streaming mode is designed for direct, private collaboration:

• Video is encrypted on the operator’s device and decrypted only on each viewer’s device.

• In most cases, streams travel directly over the network, never touching a server.

• In rare cases where a relay is needed, your video remains end-to-end encrypted.

• Supports 5–8 simultaneous viewers, depending on connectivity.

Peer-to-Peer Mode is ideal for small teams and sensitive operations where privacy is non-negotiable
