One of the first things you'll realise that you need when you've started flying your brand new DJI Phantom 3 is that it would be really nice if you had a case to protect it and carry it around. Because the Phantom is so compact and light you have the option of a backpack as well as sturdy travelling cases.
The DJI Phantom 3 Part 50 Hardshell Backpack
The DJI Phantom 3 Part 50 Hardshell Backpack is a brilliant, lightweight case which is great if you're the sort of person who likes to take your quadcopter out into the wilds to capture spectacular scenery. It has soft, padded straps and a padded back, which makes it really comfortable but the outer cover is solid and water resistant. It'll hold your entire system with the props off and up to 3 batteries, which it means you can just grab it and go.

The BW International case
If you're looking for something sturdier that will take the hard knocks of travelling in the boot of your car or an aircraft's overhead locker then the DJI Phantom 3 cases from BW International could be for you. The company makes cases for professional cameramen so they know what they're doing. They've also discussed the design with drone owners to find out what they need.
The result is a sealed, waterproof case which takes the Phantom 3 with its props attached, spare props and up to 4 batteries. It's also been thoroughly tested in extremes of temperature.
Whether you are a professional or a hobbyist, this case is perfect if you are serious about protecting your investment. It also helps to look professional if you are dealing with clients.

Phantom 3 Wheeled Case by Plaber
If you're really serious about looking after your Phantom 3 then this wheeled case by Plaber cases (HPRC) gives you the ultimate in protection and portability. Plaber cases are made in Italy to an incredibly high standard. They have already proven themselves with a range of high performance resin cases which are especially popular with professional photographers. This particular case is the HPRC2700WPHA3 version which differs from standard with the addition of wheels and an extendible handle. Like the BW International case, which doesn't have wheels or a retractable handle, this case is large enough to accommodate the Phantom 3 with the props attached.
From a design point of view, the case is rugged and shock resistant. It incorporates a neoprene seal that will keep the case watertight even when the case is submerged in shallow water. Its also worth noting that the case meets IP67, STANAG 4280, and DS 81-41 standards for durability as well as ATA 300 air-travel specifications.
HPRC have ensured that the pre-cut hard foam has slots for all of your gear including spare batteries, a tablet, monitor, wifi range extender, and all of your other auxiliary tech.
