XGRIDS releases major firmware updates

XGRIDS has released a major firmware update, with new features for the PortalCam, L2 Pro, and LixelKity K1 handheld scanners, as well as Lixel CyberColor and LixelStudio software, and LixelGo app.

Enhancements include mesh modelling improvements and optimised point clouds, while the Lixel CyberColor update is optimised for real estate, and HD enhancement has been added to PortalCam.

Lixel CyberColor Version 1.11.0: What's new?

This update focuses on Real Estate showcasing and spatial presentation workflows, enabling one capture to generate multiple ready-to-use outputs for marketing, review, and delivery.

• Guided Tour: Enable interactive, structured exploration using clickable viewpoints to guide users through curated highlights. This simulates a professional, agent-led tour, ensuring viewers experience each key area from its optimal angle.

• Marketing Floor Plan: Generate AI-driven 2D floor plans with automatic recognition of doors and windows. Supports manual refinement and instant export to PDF/JPEG.

• Scene Report: Create client-ready documents by combining floor plans, key visuals, and area metrics to diversify your marketing collateral.

• Asset Management: The asset list gives you precise control over your model. Quickly browse, search, and adjust parameters for all scene elements (avatar, viewpoints, starting point) in one place.

• PortalCam HD Enhancement: HD Enhancement is now supported for PortalCam scans. High-definition re-photography allows up to 1,000 enhancement images, significantly improving visual clarity and fine spatial detail in targeted areas.

• Free Reconstruction: Single-model reconstruction is now available at no cost, with direct export to the .lcc format.

LixelStudio Version 3.6.1.0: What's new?

Panoramic Trajectory and POI Browsing

Added support for browsing panoramic trajectories and Points of Interest (POI). Users can now set POIs during the data acquisition process.

• Added a data availability check feature.

• Optimised camera ISP parameters, resulting in more vivid and vibrant colours.
