DJI Manifold 3 is a high-performance onboard computing unit for DJI Matrice 400, as well as the DJI Matrice 4 Series and DJI Matrice 4D Series.

It delivers up to 100 TOPS of computing power, fully supports and is compatible with PSDK V3, and enables third-party developers to build high-performance end-to-end automatic solutions.

When paired with the DJI Matrice 4E, it supports Smart 3D Explore, for real-time spatial mapping and flight route planning in unknown environments.

Please note, Manifold 3 must be paired with a dedicated accessory kit (available separately). Please choose between the DJI Matrice 400 Accessory Kit, or the DJI Matrice 4 Series Accessory Kit, or the DJI Matrice 4D Series Accessory Kit - depending on which drone you are using.

High-performance on-board computing unit

  • High computing power: Up to 100 TOPS of computing power. Manifold 3 utilises components like GPU and DLA to perform and accelerate algorithm models.

  • Compatibility: Deploy with DJI Matrice 400, DJI Matrice 4 Series, and DJI Matrice 4D Series (DJI FlightHub 2 required when used with M4D Series). Manifold accessory kits (available separately) are required for integration.

  • Lightweight: Manifold 3 weighs 120g. Wehn integrated with a drone, its small footprint ensures minimal impact on flight time.

  • Weather-resistant: Manifold 3 is IP55-rated. Depoy in temperatures from -20°C to 50°C

  • Cooling performance: Supports operation at 25W, even in temperatures of 40° C.

When paired with the Matrice 4E, the Manifold 3 unlocks Smart 3D Explore, a powerful tool for on-site modeling.

By combining the drone’s advanced sensing capabilities with Manifold 3’s high-performance computing, the system can perform real-time spatial mapping and intelligent route planning in unfamiliar environments, helping ensure safe and efficient autonomous exploration.

As the drone flies, Manifold 3 builds a draft 3D model and sends it directly to the remote controller.

From this, operators can generate accurate mapping routes that adapt to the shape and geometry of the target.

The result is that complex structures can be measured and modeled in detail with just a single field operation.

PSDK Open Platform

Expanded operations: From data collection to task execution

  • PSDK support: Manifold 3 is compatible with PSDK V3. It means it can acquire drone sensor data and enables fast access to video streams and efficient payload/flight control.

  • New software features: Developers can install and upgrade third-party applications through DJI Pilot 2 without needing command line operations or complex software dependencies.

  • LiDAR point cloud data: Use Manifold 3 to access LiDAR point cloud dara from the M400 and overlay AR visuals in the DJI Pilot 2 app - creating new applications for complex scenarios.

  • Expandability: Manifold 3's USB 3.0 Type-C port supports Power Delivery and allows connection to external devices.

  • Open platform: Developers can leverage Manifold 3's computing power, along with the PSDK toolkit, to create high-performance, automated solutions to cover their workflows.
