DJI FlightHub 2 has launched a Business licence and removed the Professional licence. What does this mean?
On January 27, 2026, DJI FlightHub 2 officially launched the new Business Version, and discontinued the previous Professional Versions (1-month/12-month/3-year).
Users whose Professional Versions are within the validity period before the discontinuation will be automatically upgraded to the new Business Version free of charge. At the same time, the features available in the standard version will also be adjusted.
Launch of the New Business Version
The new Business Version offers a wider range of advanced features. Beta features currently in trial will also be officially supported.
Discontinuation of Professional Versions (1-Month / 12-Month / 3-Year)
The current Professional Versions have been removed. Versions that have already been purchased or activated will remain available and will be upgraded to the Business Version at no cost.
Adjustment to Mapping Image Packages
The previous 20,000-image package has been removed. The new mapping image recharge package will be introduced. Already purchased or activated image packages can still be used normally.
Changes to Standard Version Features
Relaxed Restrictions: The standard version will no longer limit the number of projects or the number of models loaded to the map in each project.
New Restrictions on the Standard Version: The maximum number of user accounts per organisation will be set to 5. The following features will not be supported: Custom project roles and permissions, exporting flight records locally, viewing organisation data dashboard, creating analyzers, sharing project data within the organisation, linking analyzers in automated workflows, and automated assignment workflow. Virtual cockpit will support official algorithms for people, vehicle, vessel, and large-object detection, but third-party algorithm-based detection will not be supported. AI waypoint and patrol routes will support official people, vehicle, and vessel detection, but not third-party algorithms. Smart search will be limited to 4 uses per organisation per month. Change detection will be limited to 4 uses per organisation per month.
Retention of Existing Data: All accounts already added to organisations, custom project roles and permissions, and analyzers created before these changes take effect will remain and will not be deleted.
