What operating modes does DJI O4 Ground Station support, and what are their use cases?

DJI O4 Ground Station supports Gateway Mode and Relay Mode.

1. Gateway Mode:

DJI O4 Ground Station connects to DJI FlightHub 2* via Ethernet or the DJI Cellular Dongle 2**. Aircraft operating with DJI Dock 3 can use the ground station as a relay for extended-range video transmission.

2. Relay Mode***:

No internet connection required. DJI O4 Ground Station can be positioned at an elevated location to serve as a communication relay for aircraft, working in conjunction with a remote controller or dock to overcome signal obstructions.Please observe local laws and regulations when performing relay flights.

* In Gateway Mode, DJI O4 Ground Station connects via Ethernet or the DJI Cellular Dongle 2 to the DJI FlightHub 2 public cloud, FlightHub 2 On-Premises, FlightHub 2 AIO, and third-party software systems developed via Cloud API or FlightHub Sync.
