What replaced the drone OSC?

The Operating Safety Case (OSC) methodology was replaced by UK SORA (Specific Operations Risk Assessment) in April 2025. Operators who want to go beyond the scope of PDRA-01 now apply through UK SORA. Examples include flying closer to uninvolved people or buildings, operating above 400ft, or conducting EVLOS and BVLOS missions.
