Do I still need an OSC?
No. New applications are no longer made through the OSC, because the methodology was replaced by UK SORA in April 2025.
You will typically need a UK SORA-based Operational Authorisation if you want to operate outside the limits of PDRA-01. Examples include:
flying less than 50m from uninvolved people or properties
flying more than 400ft above the surface
conducting EVLOS or BVLOS missions
