AIRINS launches multi-payload gas sensing for DJI M400 drone
AIRINS (formerly Soarability) has launched multi-payload gas sensing configurations for the DJI M400 drone, providing more data during a single mission.
The expanded capability allows multiple sensors to be deployed simultaneously, improving operational efficiency and providing more comprehensive gas analysis across inspection, environmental monitoring, and industrial safety applications.

New payload configurations include:
2× Sniffer4D Nano2+ Multi-Gas modules: Monitor up to 10 gas parameters simultaneously.
Nano2+ Multi-Gas module + Nano2+ Methane module: Detect methane alongside co-emitted or safety-relevant gases such as hydrogen sulphide (H₂S).
MetScan V1 + Nano2+ Methane module: Capture ppm·m and ppm methane data using both stand-off and in-situ measurement approaches.
MetScan V1 + Nano2+ Multi-Gas module: Combine methane mapping with broader gas detection for investigation and follow-up analysis.
These flexible payload integrations allow operators to capture more comprehensive gas data during a single flight, reducing the need for multiple missions while improving situational awareness.
Gas detection drones are increasingly used across sectors such as oil and gas, environmental monitoring, utilities and industrial inspection, where rapid detection and mapping of hazardous gases can improve safety and operational efficiency.
