This blog outlines the DJI firmware updates for May 2026.
So far, updates have been released for DJI Dock 3/Matrice 4D Series, DJI FlightHub 2 (Public Version), DJI Matrice 4 Series, and DJI M400. Check back throughout the month to see if any further firmware updates have been released across the DJI drone ecosystem.
DJI Dock 3/DJI Matrice 4D Series: v17.01.05.06
The DJI Dock 3 and DJI Matrice 4D Series v17.01.05.06 firmware update was released on May 8, 2026.
What’s new?
• DJI Enterprise: Added support for turning on/off the indicator of the dock landing pad. This enables operators to tailor the indicator behaviour to their needs, via the DJI Enterprise App. • DJI Pilot 2: Optimised the isothermal display in infrared mode. After manually selecting a target, the isothermal display will automatically adjust based on the target. This is designed to enhance thermal missions. • Fixed some known issues.

DJI FlightHub 2 (Public Version)
The latest firmware update for the public version of DJI FlightHub 2 went live on May 8, 2026.
What’s new?
This release has brought DJI consumer drones and handheld Devices RTMP Stream Access.
Supports connecting DJI consumer drones and handheld devices to FlightHub 2, enabling live streaming and viewing via RTMP.
Supports viewing live streams from streaming devices in the device window on the Project > Team page and on the multi-stream live view screen.
For devices connected via streaming, auto-recording can be enabled in project settings to record live footage in a timely manner.
In relation to this, DJI says:
RTMP stream access for DJI consumer drones and handheld devices is currently supported only on the public cloud.
Minutes generated by viewing livestreams from streaming devices and auto-recording will consume the livestream billing duration.
Devices connected via RTMP streaming do not count towards the online device limit in the Enterprise Edition.
Live-streaming function is supported in the DJI Fly app v1.4.12 and later versions.
Livestreaming is not supported when used with the DJI RC Remote Controller.
Only RTMP live streaming is supported when using DJI Flip, DJI Air 3S, Air 3, or DJI Mini 4 Pro with DJI RC 2.
Devices connected via RTMP streaming do not count towards the online device limit in the Enterprise Edition.
For handheld devices, livestream is supported in DJI Mimo App V1.2.20 or later. Applicable products are: Osmo Pocket 4, Osmo 360 (Single-Lens), Osmo Action 6, Osmo Action 5 Pro, Osmo Pocket 3, Osmo Action 4, DJI Pocket 2, Osmo Action 3, DJI Action 2 and Osmo Action.
The DJI FlightHub 2 update also brings additional optimised features.
FlightHub Sync - Live Stream Forwarding now supports live stream quality settings.
FlightHub Mapping API now supports Zenmuse L3.
DJI Matrice 400: v17.01.05.25
The DJI Matrice 400 v17.01.05.25 firmware went live on May 8.
This release fixed some known issues.
